Rafik Hussein has dedicated his life to serving others through heartfelt partnerships with local organizations, governments, and communities—always working hand-in-hand to bring about sustainable, meaningful change. Since founding Raf-Fixed-It “Dreams Come True” in 1983, Rafik has poured his heart into countless volunteer-led initiatives—each one devoted to uplifting disadvantaged and marginalized individuals. Entirely unpaid and driven solely by compassion, his projects touch nearly every aspect of life:
- Helping The Homeless (1986) – Offering shelter, support, and second chances through CSR collaboration with PC Foods Ltd.
- The School of the Media for the Disadvantaged (1987) – Empowering unheard voices through education and creative expression.
- London Community TV (1998) – Providing a platform for communities to be seen, heard, and celebrated, with CSR support from Call Box Services – Shepperton Studios.
- Every Child’s Right to Play (2002) – Defending play as a vital part of every child’s development and joy, supported through CSR partnerships with Sovereign Play Equipment Ltd.
- Smiles & Steps: Teeth & Feet Caring for the Disadvantaged (2005) – Promoting health and dignity through dental and podiatry care, in collaboration with local dentist practices in deprived areas.
- Accessibility & Usability – Disabled Home Adaptation (2007) – Making homes truly livable, safe, and empowering for people with disabilities, through CSR partnership with Properteers Group Ltd.
- Sports for the Disadvantaged (2010) – Fostering inclusion, confidence, and connection through sport, with CSR collaboration from Woolston Manor Golf Club.
- Performing Arts Education Accessible to All (2012) – Opening doors to creativity and self-expression for every child, supported by The Old Savoy Theatre.
- Dream Weddings for the Underprivileged – “Gift of Love” (2014) – Creating magical, unforgettable moments for those who never imagined it possible, thanks to CSR collaboration with Milan Palace.
- Club 18 – Celebrating Birthdays for the Underprivileged (2017) – Ensuring every child feels special, loved, and remembered on their birthday, through local venue partners in deprived areas.
